The Knowledge for the Real World Program bridges the gap between Technical Competence and Conversational Competence by developing the ability to engage clients in an effective wealth planning conversation.
Specific topics addressed include:
- The most common wealth planning mistakes clients make in each of the planning disciplines
- Specific tactics to gather client information and identify needs; for example, how to read a client's 1040 to gather information and identify planning needs from a review of a client's 1040
- Engaging clients at an emotional level
- Strategies for motivating clients to take action
